Earth movers

Hello and thank you again for taking a moment to read, well, me.

As most of you know, and if you don't know - welcome I am glad you are here, my name is Suzie Dugan, artist at heart, with a business woman's thoughts.  Lady In Pink Photography is my baby, 2 years old October 2010.  I feel as though "she" is just beginning to walk.

When the idea of owning a company and being my very own boss popped in, to say "hello!", I thought I was ready and knew it all.  NOPE!  Not even close.  What I thought I did know, I didn't, and what I thought I didn't know, I simply just didn't know it.

So where does a young woman, who has just given birth to a beautiful tiny newborn baby, go when she needs to find the answers to every single new question?  The library...  Taking a look at a chapter out of my own best friend's life, I mirrored what she did, only difference: I went to the business section.

There I found books of all sizes and shapes, colors and textures, and words of kinds.  Some had giant gold bold text imprinted on a worn, with love, rich brown leather.  Tiny books with more condensed letters than a bowl of Alphabet soup.  The books I found the most attractive were the "How to  ______"  as each book filled my mind, the pieces finally pulled together.

After the "How to _______" books, I found books that explained each and every business theory more and more.  The deeper I delved, the more each previous book made sense.  This journey down the library isles has brought my journey in life into full swing.

People are remembering who Lady In Pink Photography is... People I do not even KNOW are recognizing the name.   I am so very excited to see where year three is going to take me.  Just as a newborn child grows into a toddling machine, I bet the legs under Lady In Pink Photography are going to take a few more spills before they get it.  Please help me along the journey, all I am is the mother of Lady In Pink Photography I can guide and teach, but something tells me "she" is going to even shock me at her potential.

I hope each and everyone of you reading right now has someone or something to watch grow before your eyes.  At first you don't notice a change at all.  Than simply days after birth she is grown into a strong, confident, capable woman.

Thank you again,

Till another moment of inspiration tickles my fingure tips,
Suzie Dugan
Artist at Heart.
